The Wayne County Public Library in conjunction with various other community organizations is proud to have implemented the Wayne Community Garden on the grounds of the Wayne County Public Library. The goal of this gardening initiative, which will serve a diverse group of Wayne County youth and adults, is to cultivate plants and people through gardening. The Wayne Community Garden at Wayne County Public Library has become a valuable cultural resource for its citizens, residents and visitors; emphasizing the library’s mission to “promote an appreciation of our history and diverse cultures; and offer community members the opportunity to meet and interact with others in the community”.

These are fabulous photos. This week, CASTLES kids learned that it is the brighly colored veggies that feed your blood. Well, these bright and colorful pictures sure feed my soul. Nothing could be finer than kids and fresh produce in Carolina!
